This is not about maths or arithmetic! It is about measurably reducing errors and substantially increasing speed when working with numbers!

Many routine tasks require people to correctly key, record, transfer or check numerical data. Number Accuracy & Speed enables learners to increase accuracy and speed in performing number-handling functions.

Number Accuracy & Speed addresses six skills; perceiving, hearing, grouping, remembering, transferring and proofing numbers.

Ergonomic exercises help learners to reduce stress and eye fatigue in order to increase their overall productivity.

Number Accuracy & Speed uses visual exercises to improve rapid, accurate perception, retention and transfer of numbers, as well as alphanumerical combinations. Number patterns are analysed and drilled during four 4-hour sessions so that learners quickly and accurately identify and transfer data to screens or documents. In addition, audio exercises develop the skill of listening for numbers.

More than 500 000 learners have attended Number Accuracy & Speed and achieved measurable improvement. The following results have been achieved in South Africa.

Number Accuracy & Speed is a critical cross-field outcome and is applicable to all unit standards and qualifications from NQF Level 1 to NQF Level 6

Requirements

Number Accuracy & Speed is designed to benefit any person who keys, records, transfers or checks numerical data 20% or more of their time.

Please note: Learners are required to commit themselves to attend 4 x 4 hour sessions

Pre and post-tests completed during sessions

A workbook; pre and post-tests; a refresher diskette (optional extra)
